CSCS Exam Certification

Strength and conditioning certification

One goal to check off my list

After seven months of committed studying, I passed the Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist Exam offered by the National Strength and Conditioning Association on December 10th. Does this mean I am now a fitness expert? Hardly! It does mean that I have established a solid base of information on which to launch my own personal investigation, experimentation, and further study. I am very eager as well as very overwhelmed at the body of information available to me from great coaches and teachers. However, I have a feeling I will learn just as much from spending time helping and getting to know my clients and students. I am looking forward to the journey ahead and I aspire to learn something new everyday and put my knowledge to good use. My personal goals for 2011 include acquiring my RKC Level II Certification and learning and applying as much as I can about Gray Cook’s Functional Movement Screen.
